DEVICE FOR POWDER IONIZATION

Some production processes give rise to powders with an electrostatic charge that makes them stick to the surfaces they come in contact with, and this can generate many problems. This project required the creation of an electrical device capable of neutralizing the electrostatic charge of food powders in order to allow them to flow correctly in the desired direction.

For this purpose, a device was designed capable of producing an electric field at several kV, concentrated in the area where the powder flows, able to neutralize its electric charge.

In this project most attention was paid to the isolation of the electrical signals on the electronic board, in order to avoid any discharges due to the high voltages involved.
